Slacky/Busy week?
Alright. I know I haven’t updated much as to what I’ve been up to lately. It’s mostly because I’ve been busy with school work, as well as somewhat struggling with getting myself back on track and getting my priorities straight. None the less, an update.
I started on the WordPress 3.0 Creating and Editing Custom Themes. In fact, I completed Chapter 1 a few days ago. However, I thought I’d be doing more that day so I didn’t end up updating the blog. I’ll leave the listing to my next Web Development update. But I have to say, from my brief chapter into it, I really like it. Chapter 1 didn’t actually get into how to code everything, but actually, it went into designing a layout in Photoshop first; a skill I need to work on as well. So I’m definitely looking forward to continuing to work on it.
Aside from that, I’ve been helping Matt with a bit of SEO stuff. Nothing major, just basic. That’s done, and started helping him on a demo WordPress page. Honestly, I had not realized how complicated WordPress could get until I installed the theme and tried to get it working. There is a LOT of things I still need to work on… I see that now.
Unfortunately, I may not get to it as soon as I want to since I have other priorities right now, but for now, that’s it!
